A Night to Remember with Friends, Family and Loved Ones
Greensboro’s arts scene is one of epic proportions within our region. Between strolling the streets of the city and taking in all of the public works of art, installations and live performances, the Gate City has plenty to offer. Since the early 1960s, Greensboro has invested time, money, care and attention to the preservation and promotion of artistic innovation to build recognition and support for the arts. Looking to the future, the $84.7 million Steven Tanger Performing Arts Center will open in March 2020. The center will boast a state-of-the-art acoustic sound system with more than 3,000 seats on three levels with a 111,000-square-foot structure of limestone and glass including a patio and an outdoor terrace overlooking LeBauer Park. Equally impressive, the quality and quantity of night-out options can make one’s head spin. Sharing quality time with loved ones and family enjoying the vibrant arts scene in Greensboro.
